Today, I was informed that my recent gift purchase from Cabela's Sporting goods for my boss was never sent (fishing lures--platic worms), due to a mix-up between the two countries, as the customer service clerk somehow thought the the "Democratic" in the name of the country must mean South Korea, and that I must have been confused when I entered Republic of Korea on the order form as that country must be North Korea.
So, I had to point to the computer screen and show my boss his gift that will now be shipped to South Korea/Republic of Korea. Not much a surprise anymore, but I blame the North for using the misnomer term, "Democratic," in the official name of their country.
